Holidays are approaching!

We actually got a chance to get our tree and decorate it on the same day. Grace was in charge of finding the perfect tree and she was more than successful. Went for a spruce tree this year, gives Grady a few pine cones to play with!

It is good thing that they built 10 foot ceilings in 1921(the age of our house). It was a stetch to have Grace put the star on the top. Cooper did a great job picking out the first ornament. Grady feels that all ornaments should be touched and taken off of the tree.

You have got to love them!!!!

Halloween is over!!!

We are so excited that Halloween is over. Grace and Cooper are already talking about what they want to be next year. Grady was a successful frog, hard to believe a 16 month old fit into a 6 to 12 month costume. Grace made a beautiful Cinderella, she go her first updo from mommy. Cooper went with the old Thomas standby. We got a chance to make all the necessary rounds. Cousin Jack was a high class fisherman, unfortunately the pics are not available yet. Cousin Maddie was trhe super hero of the family, Batgirl!!!!

Cooper was the lead train in his school parade!!!

Been awhile, A return to Critz Farms!

We headed out to Critz Farms on Columbus Day! The temps made it feel like Labor Day. The kids had a great time. The cow train was a smashing success. We still have not dome anything with the pumpkins we got.

Grady takes a dip!!!

Grady ventured into the big kids pool today. Grace did a great job coaching him. The size of the pool makes Grady look like a dwarf. The pics tell it all!!!

Thomas, Year 2

We headed back to North Creek and tried to find Thomas. You could call it our yearly pilgrimage. Cooper needs his fix. We did not tell the kids where we were going, this made for a bit of a quieter ride. Grady enjoyed Thomas, the whistle was bit loud. As last year, it rained when we pulled into the parking lot, then the sun came out as we were getting ready to leave. I'll have to chat with Cooper about the Thomas gods.

Thank goodness, Spring is in the Air!

Grace, Cooper and Grady were so excited that the snow finally melted and they were able to enjoy their outdoor toys. Our house was beginning to feel a bit cramped. We hope everyone enjoyed their winter months as much as we did. The pics will show how much our kids have grown. Every day continues to be an adventure!

We celebrated Cooper's third birthday last weekend. Thanks to Uncle Scott, several changes of clothes were needed. The super soakers were a huge hit!

Parents' Night, finally!!!

After several weather delays, Grace was finally able to participate in her Parents' Night. The presentation was outstanding; Nana and Papa had a super time. Grace and Cooper also dined at "Old McDonald's" without mommy and daddy. Grace was able to see herself on tv, and now we have back to back years on our video camera. Cooper decided to "tune" the class piano half way through the songs.
